Job Description
- Define, implement, and maintain QA strategies, standards, and best practices across projects.
- Lead test planning, test case design, and execution for complex systems and features.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Review and improve existing automation suites for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Log, track, prioritize, and follow up on defects through to resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and drive preventive process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor, train, and support junior QA engineers and junior developers on quality standards, testing practices, and defect prevention.
- Provide QA estimates, timelines, and regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and reporting.
- Define and monitor quality metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, and automation effectiveness.
- Participate in release readiness reviews and provide quality sign-off.
- Coordinate and support performance, security, and other non-functional testing activities.
- Support post-release validation and analysis of production issues.
